The crippled woman (Luke 13:10-17)

Eighteen endless years.

Nine hundred and thirty-six long weeks.

Hundreds of thousands of days

Of interminable suffering

Seeing only the dust

At my feet.

And now

The warm touch

Of this Jesus

And I can stand up straight

In every way.
