I see a man arguing with those in power. He seems to have got them worried, but I'm nit sure why. They're the ones who know what they're doing, and he seems to be making it up ad he goes along. They can quote chapter and verse, refer to the authorities, take their place in the controversies. He just asserts- asserts God is good, love is supreme, details can be worked out as we go along, evil is defeated....
But they don't seem to be able to overcome his arguments.
Their chapter and verse and authorities seem thin and bloodless up against his utter conviction that God is here and now and active. And love and life.
I see a man arguing with the authorities.
I see the authorities failing to argue with his Authority.
I see a world falling apart.
