They questioned his authority, but he refused their right to challenge him. He told them, in no uncertain terms, that the tax collectors and the prostitutes, the ones they wanted to leave outside in a queue, would enter the Kingdom before them.

Where does that leave me, us, if we are safe inside, if we are the ones who have - or claim - the authority - to ask "by what right?" - by what right have you come to our country, by what right do you ask for help from the state, by what right do you do you expect to marry, by what right do you ask me to change.....?

Who is standing in a queue I, we insist on maintaining?

And where is Jesus today?
